What gives with this arctic air?? Don't get me wrong, I'm all for a little nip in the air for the holiday season but single digit lows! C'mon!!! What's up with that?? Sorry, I had to vent. Anyway, only 7 shopping days left til Christmas and I actually have started my shopping this year before Xmas Eve! Still got a little ways to go though. FYI...I found some REALLY good deals at Old Navy and Rue 21 in the Sparks Crossings shopping center right off Pyramid Highway. Also some really good deals at Scheels! Have a very Merry Christmas!!!

Husker-Doodle Dandy!

So I just got back from Nebraska with my girlfriend as her mom just moved there from Texas. It was a ton of fun hanging out with everybody BUT there really isn't much to do in the land of the corn so let's just say her family took me "out on the town" and there were a couple of days where I needed a little help to get going if ya know what I'm saying...so I was introduced to this new hangover cure "Nebraska Style"...it's called the" Husker Doodle Dandy"...here's the recipe...

Scoop Vanilla Ice Cream

Scoop Choclolate Ice Cream

1 Banana

1 Cup Cooked Corn (EVERYTHING in Nebraska has corn in it)

2 Tblsps Tobasco or Cholua

Mix in blender and wah-la...your hangover is gone.

Sounds gross, it is gross BUT it works! So the next one you or someone you know has a hangover...give them this recipe! Your welcome!! ;>

I want to thank everyone for shopping with me on Saturday morning! We had a lot of fun at the Grand Opening of the Burlington Coat Factory in Carson City!






It seemed like forever until the clock struck 10am and we were allowed to shop shop shop!



I did, in fact, leave the store with a new dress! Then I continued my shopping adventure and hit a few more stores in Carson... I said I was going to make a day out of it!

But, my favorite part of the day was when the cutest little girl made her mom let her change into her new outfit so that she could show it to me on the way out! I think she's got shopping in her blood! ADORABLE!
